1. We Do Not Collect Your Data

DueDue does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not require account registration, and we do not track who you are or how you use the app.

All inventory data — including item names, expiration dates, quantities, and categories — is stored exclusively on your device and never sent to our servers.

2. AI Scanning (Image Processing)

When you use the AI camera feature to scan an expiration date or product name, the image is sent to our server solely to extract the relevant text. The image is processed in real time and is not stored, logged, or used for any other purpose.

No personally identifiable information is included in or derived from these requests.

3. Backup & Restore

DueDue's backup and restore feature saves your data to your own storage — such as iCloud Drive or local device storage. Your backup files are fully under your control and are never uploaded to or accessible by us.

4. Third-Party Services

The AI scanning feature is powered by Google's Gemini Vision API via Google Cloud. Images sent for scanning are subject to Google's data processing terms. No other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services are used in the app.
