Terms of Service
Last Updated: April 3, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using DueDue, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
DueDue is a personal inventory and expiration date tracking app. It helps you manage items such as food, cosmetics, and medications by recording expiration dates and sending reminders before items expire.
All data is stored locally on your device. An optional AI scanning feature sends images to our server for real-time text extraction only.
3. Your Data & Backups
You own all data you enter into DueDue. The app does not upload your inventory data to our servers.
The backup and restore feature saves your data to your own storage (e.g., iCloud Drive). You are responsible for managing and securing your own backups.
4. AI Scanning Feature
When using the AI camera feature, images are sent to our server solely to extract expiration date or product name text. Images are processed in real time and are not stored or used for any other purpose.
Accuracy of AI-extracted results is not guaranteed. Always verify important expiration dates manually.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use DueDue only for its intended purpose of personal inventory management. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
DueDue is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that expiration date reminders will always be delivered on time, as this depends on your device's notification settings and operating system.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of DueDue, including but not limited to missed expiration dates or data loss.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
